Cables coming in from the cold
Hradil Spezialkabel presents a flexible 5000V power supply cable for maritime applications at temperatures as low as -200°C. The cable is typically used on LNG carriers. What makes this cable so special is that, instead of copper strands, it contains strands made from pure nickel.

The secret of Hradil’s new CERAMOFLEX cables lies in the conductor insulation, made of special ceramicized silicon. In spite of its excellent flame-retardant properties (180 rating at 750°C), CERAMOFLEX cables are enormously flexible and extremely thin at a diameter of just 11.4 mm.
